What are the components required for a grant proposal? One is methodology and the other one is evaluation.
Methodology: You need to submit the outline or the framework of the project’s task and its resources. The methods have to be explained in detail that should include the benefits for the project. You should also give the details regarding the manpower, time limit, raw materials and any other resources that are required for the implementation of the project. A complete sketch can be given for easy understanding. This will be an added advantage for processing your application.
Evaluation: The evaluation of the proposed project has to be done by you covering all aspects from the angle of the grantor. You have to submit your proposal by quoting your justification and the importance of the project and the benefits to be derived out of it. Your evaluation report on the project should prove it worthy for funding.
There are two types of evaluation namely summative and formative. The former will be done at the beginning of the project. The vision of this evaluation is to review the activities that are listed to meet the aim of the project. The latter is assessment of the project during its working and also after the implementation of the same.
On submission of the above, you cannot expect the sanction of grant amount immediately. The authorities should get convinced of your proposal to sanction you the grant amount for which patience is required at your end.
